"They had my old yearbooks, which I don't have," he said. Carrying books from 1977, 1978 and 1980, he looked through other pieces of Central memorabilia being sold by the school during a garage sale Tuesday afternoon. He was joined by fellow class of 1980 alums for one last stroll around the high school before the demolition of the interior begins.

Kitchen fire damages east side home

An early-morning kitchen fire Monday left an east Naperville house uninhabitable, but no one was injured in the incident. A fire alarm alerted city dispatchers to the blaze in the 1800 block of Sunrise Court at 6:33 a.m. Residents were alerted to the fire by smoke detectors in the home.
